Dubtina Farms gave away 100% of it’s proceeds in 2019 to local food banks and people who just needed food. We grew so much food, and learned so much more.. We are hoping to continue our providing lots of food to those who need it. This season we hope to start selling food so we can give away even more!
We are in the process of assembling a hoop house for growing hydroponic vegetables at a higher rate than we could in our fields. We are striving to provide our local community with an assortment of fresh food so they can count on eating more healthy foods. Easy access to inexpensive foods, should offer less reliance on eating processed junk foods, which are the least expensive option for many struggling families. Doesn’t it seem like a shame that healthy food often costs more than mass produced highly processed junk food? We think so, and we’re working to change that.
